How to Setup and Use Department ID Management
“Department ID Management” refers to a feature that allows businesses to manage and control access to printing and copying functions on their Canon Multifunction Devices. This feature is especially useful in environments where multiple users or departments share a single printer or multifunction device.

- The Device’s IP Address
- The System Manager ID/PIN (in our case this will be 1234/1234)
- You must also be connected to the same network as the Canon Device
- A computer with a web browser (Google Chrome recommended)
