Operate copier without finisher or output tray
on the imagerunner ADVANCED DX device there is an option to run the main device without having the exit tray or finiwr installed. If you remove the finisher or output tray due to a malfunction the machine will not run and will indicate to you to “remove the documents from the output tray”. To temporarily stop this message until you are able to return with a working finisher please make the following service mode adjustment:
Level 2 – Copier – Option – Func-sw – TRYFLOFF = “1”
Note: Remember to seitch5this service mode setting back to “0” option installation of the replacement finisher.
